What syncs#

Your builds, runs, and leaderboards — small JSON metadata — back up privately to your account in the background. This is a condition of the license, and it's what powers:

• Restore on a new device — activate a seat, and your work history follows you.
• Support — when you report a problem, the operator can actually see the run in question instead of asking you to zip up files.

Sync is silent and off the hot path: builds, runs, validation, and exports never wait on the network.

What never syncs#

Your imported market data never leaves your machine. Bars, CSVs, datasets — all of it stays local, always. Only the small metadata documents described above are uploaded.

Who can see your data#

Your synced data is private to your account. There are no public leaderboards, no sharing features, no cross-user visibility of any kind — no other user can ever see your strategies, runs, or results.

The operator can access synced data in the admin console for support and oversight. That access is disclosed in the EULA and Privacy Policy you accept at first run (both are always available at /legal/eula and /legal/privacy).

The consent step#

On first launch (and again if the terms are ever updated) the app shows the full EULA and Privacy Policy and asks for explicit acceptance, including the sync disclosure. The same canonical documents live on this site behind the View online links.

FAQ-sized answers#

• Can I turn sync off? No — it's a condition of the license. What it uploads is deliberately minimal (metadata only, never market data).
• Is my strategy IP exposed to other users? No. Nothing you do is visible to any other user, ever.
• What happens to synced data if I cancel? Your account and its data are handled per the Privacy Policy; your local data stays on your machine regardless.
